First Union Living Word Christian Fellowship in Pomona, California is a vibrant fellowship of believers. We serve a true and living God, and we desire to worship in a multicultural environment, knowing that God has called us to be in fellowship with all of His children regardless of perceived differences.
Casual attire is always appropriate, but dress up if you like. Our aim is to magnify Christ and Him alone. Our church consists of dynamic teaching and preaching designed to challenge you to grow stronger in your faith. We also offer exciting and uplifting gospel music that is filled with praise.
Our focus is on equipping believers to walk in righteousness and reaching those who do not have a personal relationship with God through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We are a non-denomination church committed to serving the community.

As a man of God, William Tyler’s objective is to show the love of Jesus Christ to everyone he comes into contact with and to nurture them with the Word of God. His aim is to help them become conduits of change in the lives of the people they meet for the glory of God my Father.
Pastor Tyler retired in 2016 as the Senior Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Pomona California after 20 years of faithful service. In 2018, after feeling compelled to finish the work God called him to, he planted the Living Word Christian Fellowship of Ontario California.
In July 2019 Living Word Christian Fellowship and First Union Missionary Baptist Church successfully merged to become First Union Living Word Christian Fellowship. Pastor Tyler was appointed the new Senior Pastor with the blessing of former Pastor, Samuel Jarnagin, and the First Union church membership.
Pastor Tyler is the father of 6 daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He enjoys the blessings of time to spend with his family and wife Carolyn.
